We said, “whaaa?” when we learned that Einstein dreamed up the theory of relativity while riding his bike, but maybe we shouldn’t have been surprised. A growing body of research shows that taking breaks is a big part of improving productivity and concentration, and that stepping away from your work gives you the chance to recharge your resources.
